Question by J.J. Walker Rides Again!: Why was Monica Lewinski viewed as a celebrity after the Clinton sex scandal?

She wrote a book, appeared on Oprah, was interviewed in many magazines, was a spokes person for Jenny Craig, became a purse designer, hosted a television show and even endorsed a cigar company. Democrats loved her yet they rip into Sarah Palin for expressing her views on abortion and for having a pregnant teen daughter. Am I the only person here who see's double standards going on here? Monica lewinsky is human yet Bristol Palin is evil for having a baby out of wedlock?

Probably because the GOP has such high moral standards! I'd bet a lot of the "moral" Repubs have quite a few skeletons in the closet!
